We have a variety of ministries for children! Here's a look at what we have to offer.
We provide nursery care for newborns to three-year-olds on Sunday mornings.
We provide Sunday School classes for preschoolers and kindergarteners every Sunday at 9:15 A.M. Our preschool and kindergarten programs center around Bible stories and activities which are designed to help children learn that church is a happy, safe place, and that God loves them and their family. Parents are welcome to attend with their children until both feel comfortable being left. The preschool and kindergarten class meets downstairs with Kay Stevens.
We also provide a variety of classes and activities for children in first-fifth grade. Our early and late programs focus on teaching children how to apply biblical truths to their lives in practical ways. We also emphasize basic biblical and theological literacy.
Early and Late Elementary Sunday School
Meets every Sunday at 9:15 A.M. in the basement with Linda Flaherty.
Every Sunday (except for fifth Sundays) during the 10:30 worship service. Children begin worship with their families in the sanctuary. After communion, they are dismissed to the fellowship hall for music, a lesson, and activities. Children's Church is led by Jacquie Jeffreys, Linda Flaherty, Cheryl Maupin, and Krista Stiveson.
Kids For Christ
Every Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30. Our Wednesday evening children's group provides students with active-learning environment. This group is led by Paula Persons.
Life Skills for Kids
Life Skills for Kids is an interactive ministry in which elementary aged students will learn basic abilities, techniques, and skills that will equip them to deal with the demands and challenges of everyday life. Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of different vocations, thus helping them to discern what their divine calling in life is! Life Skills will be on every Saturday in August from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Click here to register today!
